Sublimation Printing

A printing method that uses heat to transfer dye into synthetic fabrics. The ink becomes part of the fabric rather than sitting on top. Produces vibrant, all-over prints that won't crack or peel.

Example

A cycling team wants jerseys with a full all-over design. Sublimation prints edge-to-edge on polyester fabric — the design wraps around the entire garment.

Why It Matters

Sublimation enables all-over prints that DTG can't do. Bear Grips uses sublimation for performance products like leggings and sports bras.
