Print Area

The designated zone on a garment where a design can be printed. Usually defined by maximum width and height in inches.

Example

A standard front print area on a tee is about 12" × 14". A left chest print is about 4" × 4". Designs must fit within these boundaries.

Why It Matters

Knowing print areas helps vendors design correctly. Bear Grips products have defined print areas — designs that go outside get cropped or rejected.
