Curing

The process of applying heat to printed garments to permanently bond the ink to the fabric. DTG prints are cured using a heat press or conveyor dryer.

Example

After DTG printing, a tee goes through a heat tunnel at 330°F for 90 seconds. This cures the ink so it survives washing.

Why It Matters

Proper curing ensures prints are wash-durable. Undercured prints fade and crack after a few washes — quality providers cure correctly.
