Color Mode (RGB vs CMYK)

RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is for screens. CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key/Black) is for traditional printing. DTG printers typically use CMYK but accept RGB files.

Example

A designer creates artwork in RGB for their website, then converts to CMYK for printing. Some bright neon colors shift because CMYK can't reproduce them.

Why It Matters

Some vibrant screen colors can't be exactly reproduced in print. Designing with this in mind prevents unexpected color shifts in final products.
